A book that looks into the lives of the people who gather at the city’s coffee windows for conversation & human connection through poetry, stunning photos, and joyful interviews. 

In 2024, I published Ventanitas: A Window into Miami’s Coffee Culture. I initially wrote and designed this book for my final degree show at the Royal College of Art. Ventanitas is an exploration into the walk up coffee windows that line the city of Miami and contribute to its unique culture. The book, written in English and Spanish, is published by not-for-profit arts and culture organisation O’Miami. 

Ventanitas features beautiful images by the award-winning photographer Gesi Shilling, poetry by Miami locals of all ages, and a foreword by James Beard award winning chef Michelle Bernstein. The book was designed by myself in collaboration with design agency Topos Design.
